Officers from around the country remember Trooper Kenneth Velez

ELYRIA, Ohio– Officers from all around the country are in Northeast Ohio to remember a fallen trooper: Trooper Kenneth Velez was killed one week ago after being struck by a car on I-90.

Patrol officers from at least 19 states and Canada are being represented.

Some of the Indiana troopers have returned to Ohio after being here to help with the RNC.

Trooper Velez’s funeral was held inside the Ewing Field House and there was be a  6-mile procession route to Calvary Cemetery on North Ridge Road.
