Teller denies man trying to rob Stow bank

STOW, Ohio–  A man attempted to rob a bank in Stow on Monday, but the teller had a different idea.

The man walked into the Chase Bank on Kent Road at about 2 p.m. and demanded a large sum of money, Stow police said.  The employee said she did not have it and the suspect fled.

Officers and FBI searched the scene, but didn’t locate the man.

No weapon was seen and no one was injured.
