ELIZABETHTOWN, Penn.– A Pennsylvania couple traded in the traditional bouquets for a bundle of puppies.

Sarah Mallouk Crain helped found the rescue, Pitties.Love.Peace, so it was natural to work a few canines into her big day.

Crain and her bridesmaids each held one of five 8-month-old boxer-coonhound mixes for the nuptials at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown.

“Her heart for rescue pups is obvious and she now gets to share that with Matt as they start their lives together as husband and wife with several fur-babies already a part of their family, making life extra sweet,” photographer Caroline Logan told InsideEdition.com.

Crain said she hopes the photos will inspire more people to get involved in animal rescues.
