CLEVELAND– The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is investigating after a man was injured on or near the rail tracks Sunday afternoon.

It happened at about 2 p.m. by the South Harbor Station in the municipal parking lot, which was packed with Cleveland Browns tailgaters.

According to the RTA, paramedics took the 23-year-old man to MetroHealth Medical Center.

Waterfront line service was temporarily suspended, but restored at about 3:20 p.m., before the end of the Browns vs. Ravens game at FirstEnergy Stadium.

An RTA spokesman said service was increased on Sunday because of the Browns and Indians games, and Oktoberfest at Public Square.
