‘It’s just really sad:’ Neighbors react after toddler found unattended, 4 adults overdose

AKRON--"It's just really sad because this ordeal has gotten worse."

Neighbors respond after a disturbing situation regarding drugs and an unattended toddler.

"Wish people would reach out and get help," said Tracey Peterson, who lives near the scene of the crime.

Akron police say three people overdosed inside of a home on Concord Ave., Friday night. They tell Fox 8 a fourth person arrived at the home overdosed on opiates as well.

All four were treated and transported.

Police explain that during the overdosing, a three-year-old wandered off into a neighbor's yard on another street.

Thankfully a Good Samaritan watched the young child until police arrived.
