Update: 89-year-old North Canton woman missing after leaving to visit sister found safe

Update: The Stark County Sheriff tells Fox 8 that Ms. Oyler has been located and is safe.

NORTH CANTON, OH – The Stark County sheriff’s office is asking everyone to look out for an 89-year-old North Canton woman missing since Monday morning.

Betty Oyler left her home on Applegrove Street, NW at around 9:30 a.m. She was driving to Troy, Ohio to visit her sister, but never arrived.

Oyler is 5’5″ tall and weighs 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing blue floral pants. She is in the beginning stages of dementia.

Oyler was driving a white 2001 Honda Civic with Ohio license plate number AP11UA.
