ROCKFORD, Mich. -- A Michigan woman almost died after falling on a Slip 'N Slide.

Fox 17 reports it happened on Saturday.

Rosee Douthett was at a party with her husband, Jerry, and some coworkers when it happened.

Douthett fell and hit the back of her head and began to feel dizzy.

“I said  'are you OK?,' and she said, 'no,' and she went right to the ground," said Jerry Douthett, Rosee. "When she went to the ground she had a full-blown seizure."

Douthett suffered a sub-dural hemorrhage, Fox 17 reports, and her brain began to swell.

Rosee, who is a nurse, was luckily in the company of hospital workers. They jumped to help when they realized what was happening. An EMT who was at the party kept Rosee's mouth open as she had her seizures, and performed CPR when her heart stopped.

Rosee tells Fox 17 that she gets headaches and will not be able to work for some time. But she is recovering.

“I was very thankful to God for saving my life and the blessings I have received for such a quick recovery," Rosee said.
