SOLON - A local family is grieving the loss of their loved one following her murder on a Solon street.

53-year-old Deborah Pearl was on her way to work at the Southeast Harley Davidson Diner Saturday morning.

Solon police told Fox 8 a 29-year-old North Ridgeville man ran a red light at the intersection of Solon and Richmond Roads.

Witnesses saw him crawl out from beneath his overturned Jeep with a rifle in hand and shoot Pearl outside her passenger door.

Her family told Fox 8’s Lorrie Taylor that Pearl was an exceptional woman with a deep sense of faith.
