MANITOBA, Canada – Two men in Manitoba, Canada are trying to understand how they could have been switched at birth more than 40 years ago.
According to CBC News, Leon Swanson and David Tait Jr. grew up as best friends but became suspicious about their identities when they were teenagers.
They said people would tease them about looking like each other’s families.
They were born 3 days apart at Norway House Indian Hospital, but went home with the wrong mothers.
Now, DNA tests confirmed their suspicions.
“We don’t have words. Forty years gone … just distraught, confused angry.”
Now, an investigation has started to try and determine how this could have happened.
