South Euclid police searching for thief who stole more than $50K in tools

SOUTH EUCLID - South Euclid police are asking for the public’s help in finding a thief.

The man was caught by security cameras at the Simply Self Storage on Monticello Boulevard stealing a Mac Tool sales truck.

Police told Fox 8 News Reporter Lorrie Taylor the suspect cut a hole in the fence and walked straight to the truck as if he had planned the crime.

He can be seen on security video breaking an exit gate after several failed attempts at using security codes.
