SANDUSKY, Ohio– There will be a new addition next year at one of the world’s best amusement parks. But we’ll have to wait to find out what it is.

Communications director for Cedar Point Tony Clark teased fans with a tweet on Tuesday.

Last year, the park added Valravn, which includes a 165-foot-tall loop. Cedar Point also removed Shoot the Rapids, Skyscaper and Challenge Racing.

Earlier this month, Cedar Point announced the colossal wooden roller coaster Mean Streak will close. Visitors can still ride the coaster daily through Sept. 5. The final ride for the public will be on Sept. 16, the opening night for “HalloWeekends.”

When it opened in 1991, the Mean Streak was the world’s tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster.
