LAKEWOOD,Ohio-Utility crews are working nonstop to restore power to thousands of people in Cuyahoga County after the rounds of severe weather the past several days.

Thursday, the West Side was hit hard after strong storms hit Cuyahoga County around 5 p.m.

Downed trees and power lines continue to be an issue, as crews work to cleanup from the storms.

The cities of Lakewood, Bay Village, Westlake, Parma and Rocky River were the communities hit the hardest during Thursday's storms.

In Bay Village, SKYFOX captured an aerial view of the damage along Columbia Road, where a fallen tree is blocking
part of the street.

As of 7 a.m. Friday, roughly 10,000 people remain without power. Some of these folks have been without electricity since Wednesday's round of wicked weather.
