Two women and one man walked into the ClearVision Center on OH-303 on July 16. Streetsboro police said Maurice Burris, 58, of Akron, put frames in his pockets as the clerk helped the one woman with an adjustment.

They were only in the store for about 5 minutes, but got away with more than $6,000 in frames, police said.

Akron police arrested Burris Thursday afternoon. He was not in possession of the stolen frames and none of the items were recovered.

Burris was charged with felony theft and will appear in Portage County Municipal Court on Friday. Police said the two women were not charged in the case.

Streetsboro police thanks FOX 8 News and their Facebook fans for the tips that lead to his arrest.

ClearVision Center in Streetsboro was also robbed back in March.
