Cleveland police investigating attempted ATM smash and grab

CLEVELAND-Cleveland police are investigating an early morning attempted ATM smash and grab.

This latest incident happened around 3:30 Friday morning at the EZ-Exchange at 79th Street and Superior Avenue.

Police told us the would-be thieves used a stolen mini van to smash into the building.

When officers arrived the ATM was smashed inside the store.

It is not known if the suspects made off with any cash before running from the scene.
