Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco passes citizenship test

CLEVELAND – Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco announced on Thursday afternoon that he is now a U.S. citizen.

Carrasco, who is from Venezuela, made his MLB debut in 2009.

This season, he’s 7-5 with a 3.12 ERA. In his MLB career, he’s 40-43 with a 3.94 ERA.
