Girl gets new bicycle as part of Akron police’s ‘Positive Ticket’ campaign

AKRON, Ohio-- The Akron Police Department's "Positive Ticket" program is bringing a little happiness to local children.

On Thursday, Chief James Nice and his staff gave away the program's first bike at the Akron Police Department.

The "Positive Tickets" reward kids for good behavior. They get a coupon for a free ice cream cone and entered to win a bicycle.

A 3-year-old girl from the Kenmore neighborhood was randomly selected for the big prize.
