It's being hosted by the Cleveland 2016 Host Committee, with events planned for July 29 through July 31 on the newly-renovated Public Square and through downtown Cleveland.

The weekend's events begin with the Cleveland Orchestra's Star Spangled Spectacular concert on Public Square. It begins at 9 p.m. Friday and is free.

The concert will begin at 9 p.m., but the food trucks and fun will start around 6 p.m. after set-up is complete. The music will end at around 10:15 p.m. and the fireworks will start then. Music selections include a George Gershwin medley, songs from The Sound Of Music, The Battle Hymn of the Republic and The Stars and Stripes Forever.

The weekend's primary event will be a free "Community Thank You Party" from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, also at Public Square. There will be live entertainment, children’s activities, giveaways and free ice cream.

There will be free admission to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free for those who live in the following zip codes: (440, 441, 442, and 443). You must have a valid ID.

And while they aren't free, there will be Cleveland Indians games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
