Woman in South Russell bank robbery matches description in other case, police say

SOUTH RUSSELL, Ohio– The woman who robbed a bank in South Russell on Wednesday matches the description of the suspect in another area bank robbery, police say.

The Citizens Bank at Bell Street and Chillicothe Road was robbed at about 1 p.m. South Russell police said no one was injured and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Earlier this week, a woman robbed the US Bank on Northfield Road in Maple Heights and the Huntington Bank on East 185th Street in Cleveland. The FBI did not say if those two cases are related.
