CLEVELAND – Police union officials believe in paying it forward and are taking extra donations to Philadelphia to help those working and volunteering at the DNC.

“We are taking our leftover donations to Philadelphia to assist police officers and volunteers working the DNC,” said Police Union President Steve Loomis.

“Both Shaker Valley Foods and Cantonese Classic Seafood have donated the use of their refrigerated trucks for this trip. We are taking food items in our union bus.”

Loomis said they know it will be a long hot week in Philadelphia and they wanted to help out.

“The people in Cleveland were absolutely wonderful and we got so much during the RNC,” Loomis said.

He added they felt it was best to share the love with those at this week’s DNC.
