Adoptable dogs carry a fee of $20 that includes the spay or neuter, microchip, first set of vaccinations, current year license and rabies tag.

The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the shelter, 9500 Sweet Valley Drive, Sweet Valley.

Their adoptable dogs are also listed on the shelter’s website.

Then on Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, dogs can compete in the shelter’s runway and bikini competition for a chance to make it into the calendar.

There will be vendors, a DJ, a River Dog Cafe food truck and a balloon artist.

The shelter is accepting participant application and registration forms for vendors (no fee for vendor space). Anyone who wants to enter their dog or be a vendor can visit the shelter’s website here.

Dog registration is $25 for one handler/one dog.
