AKRON, Ohio– Donald Trump was expected to extend his stay in Northeast Ohio after Thursday’s speech on the last night of the RNC in Cleveland.

The University of Akron confirmed to Fox 8 News that Trump’s scheduled event at E.J. Thomas Hall on Friday afternoon has been canceled.

Trump has appeared either in person or via video each night of the convention. On Wednesday, he joined GOP vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence on stage after the Indiana Governor’s speech.

Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, will speak before her father this evening.
