CLEVELAND – There are so many good things about the Tribe being in first place in the American League Central. Really – too many to list.

Did we mention first place???

However, with the good comes the, well not BAD, but the inconvenient. Like a lack of tickets. And the possibility that if you head to Progressive Field at the last minute, you may be stuck outside the gates instead of inside rooting for the Tribe. And eating a Parmageddon.

As of early Friday afternoon, the Indians reported that there were only about 1,000 standing-room only tickets left for the Friday 7:10 p.m. game against the Yankees.

So do not hesitate if you’re even thinking of heading downtown to watch the Tribe beat the Yankees tonight. (A little hopeful editorializing there….) Pitcher Corey Kluber (8-8, 3.79 ERA) will be making his first start since being named to the American League All-Star team earlier in the week. Buy earlier than later.
