Woman, 2 children injured after man starts shooting, Cleveland police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio– Cleveland police say three people were shot including two children on West 107th St. Monday night.

A call of multiple shots fired came in shortly after 10 p.m.

According to police, a preliminary investigation reveals that a woman was arguing with her boyfriend outside when a man came from inside a home with a gun and started shooting.

Three people were injured: a nine-year-old boy who was shot in the leg; a 14-year-old boy who was also shot in the leg; and a 34-year-old woman who was shot in the back. They were all taken to MetroHealth Medical Center with what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect has been identified.
