CLEVELAND, Ohio– It’s a huge night for Cavs fans here in Cleveland, and those who are heading down to a watch party inside Quicken Loans Arena will notice some changes inside.

That’s because after Game 6, Thursday night, work began almost immediately on a monumental task: transform the Q from a sports arena into a convention hall in just a matter of weeks.

Two hundred and fifty workers, including contractors, stage hands and lighting technicians, will be at the arena on a daily basis leading up to the start of the convention on July 18, and they will sometimes work around-the-clock.

Visitors will notice changes tonight, and the arena floor will be a construction zone.
