Person shot in library parking lot in Cleveland; suspect taken into custody

CLEVELAND-- Police are investigating a shooting which happened in the parking lot of the South Brooklyn branch of the Cleveland Public Library on Pearl Road, Friday afternoon.

The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.  SWAT responded to a home on Searsdale where a suspect was believed to be inside.

A 20-year-old was taken into custody. The library closed the South Brooklyn branch for the rest of the day and tweeted out the following statement:
