Heads up: What you need to know before heading to Cavs watch party, Indians game on Sunday

CLEVELAND, Ohio– It’s going to be a very exciting weekend in Cleveland; between the Cavaliers watch party for Game 7 of the NBA Finals and the Indians game, it’s also going to be a very busy one in downtown Cleveland this Sunday. The Indians play at 1:10 p.m. and the watch party will be in the evening, both inside and outside of the Q.

With more visitors coming to town, the city recommends giving yourself extra travel time. The following parking restrictions are in effect from Sunday, June 19 at 10 a.m. to Monday, June 20 at 1 a.m.:

  • East 2nd Street from Prospect Avenue to High Avenue
  • East 4th Street from Prospect Avenue to Huron Road
  • Prospect Avenue both North & South side from Ontario Street to East 14th Street
  • Huron Road both North & South side from Ontario Street to Prospect Avenue
  • East 9th Street both East & West side from Superior Avenue to Carnegie Avenue
  • Bolivar Road both North & South side from East 7th Street to Prospect Avenue
  • ¬†Erie Court both North & South side from East 9th Street to East 14th Street

Cleveland police will have additional patrols in place throughout the downtown area.
