Funeral service information for Senator George Voinovich has been released.
The 79-year-old former Cleveland mayor, Ohio governor and U.S. senator, passed away on Sunday at his Collinwood home.
A viewing will be held at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home in Willoughby Hills on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., and at the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda on Thursday, with a time still to be determined.
His funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Euclid, with a burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery.

George Voinovich is remembered by those who knew him as an extremely humble man who considered himself to be a public servant and not a political leader.
The Republican had delivered public remarks Friday at a 25th Slovenian Independence Day event at Cleveland City Hall. He was a delegate to the Republican National Convention coming to Cleveland next month.
Voinovich spent 12 years in the Senate, leaving in 2011. He previously served two terms as Ohio’s governor and a decade as mayor of Cleveland, which he helped pull out of default.
Voinovich was mayor of Cleveland from 1980-1989. He served as Ohio’s governor from 1991-1998. He also served in US senate for 11 years, from 1999-2011.
