I-Team: Man charged for selling fake NBA Finals tickets

CLEVELAND - The Fox 8 I-Team has learned yet another person has been charged for selling fake tickets to the Cavs NBA Finals games. The latest bust came in connection to tickets sold on the street to Friday night's game.

Matthew Cubbage, 27, or Smyrna, Georgia has been charged for selling 3 fake tickets for $2100. He will appear in court Monday.

Earlier, the I-Team revealed 3 people were arrested for selling counterfeit tickets to Wednesday's game.

We learned Friday, the victim took a photo of the man selling tickets to him, and that helped police track him down. They found him downtown.

In one Wednesday case, a victim had cell phone video of the transaction, and that helped police make two arrests.

The three suspects in the Wednesday cases went to court Friday. They were ordered held on $25,000 bond, and their cases were sent to a grand jury.
