Melt Bar and Grilled ‘Parmageddon’ up for best ballpark food in U.S.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Melt Bar and Grilled is known for its unique grilled cheese sandwiches.

Now, the restaurant could be home to America’s best ball park food.

Melt’s Parmageddon sandwich represents Progressive Field in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice ‘Best Ballpark Food’ list.

The Parmageddon features sharp cheddar, sautéed onions, Napa Vodka-crout and a potato and onion pierogi.

Other stadiums with foods included in the USA Today contest leaderboard are Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, San Francisco’s AT&T Park, San Diego’s Petco Park and Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
