One dead after shooting outside Cleveland bar

CLEVELAND – Cleveland homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 24-year-old man who was shot outside the Iron City Cafe early Sunday morning.

The victim had left the Jennings Road bar with a group of other people at around 2:30 a.m. As they were walking, two men shot at the group, hitting one man in the chest and another in the foot. They were both taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where the victim of the chest wound died. The other victim was treated there and his condition is not known.

The two suspects left the scene in an unidentified vehicle, and Cleveland police are asking anyone with any information on this crime to contact homicide investigators.
