Video captures storm rip apart tents, throw debris as Ohio Bike Week concludes

SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Video captures storms ripping apart tents and throwing debris just after the Ohio Bike Week event concluded in Sandusky Sunday.

The video above was shot by the Erie County Scanner Uncensored Facebook page. The video was taken at the Jackson Street Pier.

It also shows debris and damage right after the storm hit.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office was not aware of any injuries at the event due to the storms.

The storms hit the area at around 2:30 p.m.

The Cedar Point Causeway was closed due to storm damage.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office said utility lines and tree limbs were down throughout the county.

Sandusky Police Chief John Orzech says power lines and tree limbs were down in Sandusky, and many were without power. He did say property damage was minimal, and there were no reports of injuries.
