EVERETT, Wa. — Parents at a school in Washington are outraged after video was released of an April incident on a hot school bus.

The driver reportedly refused to let children open the windows on a day when temperatures topped 80 degrees.

One girl reportedly passed out and others got sick as they pleaded the driver to let them open the windows.

“Why can’t we just open the windows,” one student yelled.

“Because the alarms will go off,” yells the driver.

“I don’t care, she could die,” the student said back.

A school official criticized the driver’s actions and said there’s no rule against opening bus windows.

The company that provides the bus service immediately pulled the driver off her route.
