CLEVELAND, Ohio -- When you step inside Edwins Restaurant at Shaker Square, you are inside one of Cleveland's finest French restaurants.

You're also inside a place that offers a second chance to those who have served time in prison.

The six-month program offers 40 to 50 hours a week of free training in the restaurant and hospitality industries.

It's the brainchild of chef Brandon Chrostowski.

Students can stay for free at a nearby 21-bed dormitory. Alumni can rent apartments.

More than 100 students have graduated since the program started back in 2013. Nobody has returned to prison.
