CLEVELAND, Ohio — Up close to all the action!
A Cleveland woman shared on YouTube a jaw-dropping video of the new “Fast and Furious” movie filming in our city.
Kasey Crabtree said in the YouTube post:
“These are REAL cars being launched from a garage in downtown Cleveland, OH (filling in for NYC locations). My reaction at the end is authentic and very funny! You just don’t see flying cars everyday!”
Crabtree told FOX 8 she was at her friend’s apartment on Prospect on Saturday, and her friend took the amazing video.
“Fast 8” has been filming in Cleveland for a couple weeks. Our city is doubling as Manhattan in the film, which is the latest installment of the adrenaline-pumping and successful “Fast and the Furious” franchise. Vehicles used in filming had New York license plates and signage was changed to reflect New York City.
Filming will last through June 10.
