Little girl gets to be a princess for a day thanks to A Special Wish

CHAGRIN FALLS – Mya Markley, 2, is battling Stage 3 neuroblastoma at University Hospitals Rainbows Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Thanks to A Special Wish and princesses from Second Star to the Right, Mya was able to be a princess for a day at the Chagrin Falls Blossom Time Parade on Sunday.

She got to meet the princesses, take pictures and ride in a horse-drawn carriage through the parade.

A Special Wish Foundation Cleveland Chapter grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses between birth and age 20. There are currently 55 wish children at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals Rainbows Babies and Children’s Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House.
