Police investigating two overnight homicides in Cleveland

CLEVELAND – Police are investigating two unrelated homicides that happened overnight in Cleveland.

The first shooting happened near 8709 Kenmore just after 9 p.m.

Officers responded for a call of a male shot and found the 20-year-old victim lying in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to University Hospitals where he passed away.

The investigation is ongoing.

The second shooting happened just after 1:30 a.m. at  6815 Chambers Avenue. When police arrived, the victim was lying in front of the home on the street. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he passed away.

The call came in from neighbors who heard shots fired, but they did not see any suspects.
