Mansfield police issue arrest warrant for murder suspect

MANSFIELD, Ohio– Police have issued an arrest warrant for Anthony Perry of Mansfield.

On Friday night, police responded to Howard Street for a call of shots fired.

Officers arrived, finding J.D. Valdry inside a car with several gunshot wounds.

Valdry was taken to Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital where he died from his injuries.

After a short investigation, officers determined that Anthony Perry was the suspect in Valdry’s murder.

A warrant has been issued and anyone with information about Perry’s whereabouts should contact Mansfield police. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
