CLEVELAND, Ohio -- This week is a special one for the men and women in blue.

It's Police Memorial Week, the time of year when people all across the country remember those who were killed or disabled in the line of duty.

In 1963, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed naming “Police Week” as the week which includes May 15, which is National Police Memorial Day. The 2016 Police Week in NE Ohio runs through May 22.

Fox 8's Kenny Crumpton  spent the morning previewing what's coming up in Northeast Ohio this weekend to honor those we have lost.
