CLEVELAND - The last time Pastor Ivory Jones III saw Brian Nance, the 31-year-old was in church, hugging people and praising God.
“He was so happy and such a good person ,” Pastor Jones said. “He was going to culinary school, and he had big dreams and a bright future.”
But on October 29, 2015, Nance was walking home from a friend’s house around 10:30 p.m. He was in the 3600 block of East 61st Street when he was shot.
“He was shot multiple times,” said Richard McIntosh, a retired Cleveland police officer now with Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County. “This was an innocent person shot for no reason on his way home and we need to get the killer off the street.”
Police are asking anyone who may have saw something that night, or know anything about the murder to call Crime Stoppers.
“His family and friends miss him greatly, he was loved dearly,” Pastor Jones said
A reward of up to $2500 is being offered for Information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person involved.
