CLEVELAND, Ohio-- In 64 days, the Republican National Convention will be over, and The Cleveland 2016 Host Committee is busy planning for that, too. It has some free, community events planned for the last weekend in July.

It is Cleveland’s way of thanking the people of Northeast Ohio and the thousands of volunteers for their support of the RNC.

It begins with the return of the Cleveland Orchestra Star Spangled Spectacular concert on Friday, July 29. The night will be capped off with a big fireworks display.

The fun continues on Saturday with a 'Community Thank You Party.'  "At Public Square, there will be programming all day-- with free giveaways, free Mitchell's ice cream, live entertainment all day, food trucks and other things that will be going on," said David Gilbert of the Cleveland 2016 Host Committee.

There will also be free admission to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 30. Anyone living in zip codes beginning with 440, 441, 442 or 443 will be admitted free with a valid ID.
