Keep the skinny jeans at home? North Carolina school district’s controversial dress code proposal

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, North Carolina– A school district in North Carolina is in the middle of a dress code drama.

WECT reports that the New Hanover County School System is considering preventing students from wearing leggings, skinny jeans or any other pants that are too tight– unless they are covered up by a top or dress.

At first, the student will be asked to change; students who continue to break the dress code could be suspended.
