Cleveland police: weekend shootings prove deadly for one woman

CLEVELAND -  One woman is dead after a shooting on Cleveland's east side Saturday night.

Police were called out to 3367 East 134th street at 11 p.m. for reports of a male being shot. When the arrived they found 33-year-old Leander Bissell with a number of gunshot wounds, along with 26-year-old Lashanda Gordon. They were both taken to University Hospitals where Gordon later died.

Witnesses told police that the two victims were in front of a home on East 134th  talking with a bearded male suspect before the shooting took place. Gordon ran to a home for help.

Police continue their investigation into this, along with the investigation of other weekend shootings on East 87th and Superior and reports of an 11-year-old child shot on East 153rd.
