CLEVELAND– Kevin Love had a big game Sunday night as the Cavs swept the Hawks to move onto the Eastern Conference Finals.

He put 27 points with 13 rebounds. The good times continued on the plane ride home as teammate Richard Jefferson continued to joke about Love’s resemblance to a model.

Following Cleveland’s sweep of the Pistons, Jefferson found an ad for Tommy Bahama featuring a man who looks a little like Love. Now, the magazine page is the team’s unofficial mascot and Love’s alter ego, Lil Kev.

“We saw Lil’ Kev in a magazine and we just started giving Big Kev a lot of crap, even though it’s not him,” Jefferson told ESPN. “It’s not him and that makes it even funnier.”

Jefferson, who had the magazine ad laminated, documents Lil Kev’s adventures on his Snapchat account, RJeff24.

Recently, Jefferson even let Lil Kev ride in his car’s front seat while forcing teammate Channing Frye, who is 6 foot 11, to sit in the back. Frye didn’t seem to mind.

“I think it’s funny. I think it’s something that brings us together as a team. Lil’ Kev is an integral part of what we’re doing. He’s the guy from behind the scenes,” Frye said, according to ESPN.
