NORTH RANDALL, Ohio-- A fire at Randall Park Mall Thursday night has been ruled an arson. Fire officials tell FOX 8's Lorrie Taylor that investigators are following some very strong leads in their search for a suspect.

The fire destroyed what's left of the old Magic Johnson Theater and Taylor was hearing at the scene that the fire started near the concession area and spread from there.

The blaze started around 10 p.m. Thursday, and at one point, the flames were extensive. Despite that, crews were able to put the fire out within a half hour. There were no injuries reported.

Randall Park Mall fireThe mall has been vacant for years. In 2014, portions of it were demolished.
