CINCINNATI-Authorities say two adults and a child have died in an apartment fire in suburban Cincinnati.
Firefighters were called to an apartment building in Springfield Township just before 3 a.m. Wednesday and found smoke coming from the building.
Authorities say a woman and her young son pulled from the apartment were taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. Firefighters found a man's body shortly before 5:30 a.m.
The names of those killed weren't immediately released.
Township Fire Chief Robert Leininger says the relatively small fire apparently ignited some combustibles in the kitchen and smoldered long enough to generate toxic smoke that spread through the apartment.

Fire officials haven't said what caused the fire. They say no one else was in the apartment and no other injuries were reported.
