BAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Ohio– A Cuyahoga County sheriff’s deputy has been suspended without pay after police say they arrested him on a drunk driving charge. Police also say he had a weapon on him while drunk, so he is facing a charge for that too.

Police arrested Matthew Bilak. The incident happened last week in Bainbridge Twp. outside the Greenville Inn.

The Bainbridge Twp. police chief says Bilak refused a breathalyzer test.

Bilak has pleaded not guilty in court. We left a message for him and have not yet heard back.
