Police identify man found dead near Cuyahoga River in Kent

KENT, Ohio — The man found near the Cuyahoga River in Kent Sunday has been identified.

Police say Daniel J. Harwood, 23, of Kent, was found near a pile of rocks around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Harwood was formerly a Kent State University student but was not currently enrolled, said police.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine his cause of death, police say.

No foul play is suspected.
