ASHLAND, Ohio — A Lakewood man has been arrested after being accused of exposing himself to a woman and two juveniles in Ashland.

Police credit informed and observant citizens with Locke’s arrest.

According to Ashland police, Jonah A. Locke faces a charge of public indecency.

He allegedly exposed his genitals to an adult female in the 1100 block of East Main Street on April 29. Police say he then ran away and was spotted by officers several blocks away.

He was found soon after by Ashland K9 Officer Fello and his handler, Officer Craig Kiley, hiding in a garage on East Walnut Street.

Police say Locke has also been identified as an offender in two cases from April 25, in which he is accused of exposing his genitals to juvenile females in the 600 block of Vine Street and in the 200 block of Sloan Avenue.

Locke is a registered sex offender and is currently being held in the Ashland County Jail.

Additional charges are possible.
