CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland police are looking for some would-be thieves, foiled during an attempted smash-and-grab Friday morning.

It happened just after 2:30 a.m. at the Food Plus shop on Woodland Avenue near E. 107th Street.

The store owner was watching from home on a surveillance system and called police.

Officers say a stolen jeep smashed into the side of the building missing the bolted-down ATM by about five feet.

Police found the jeep about a block away, but the suspects were able to get away.
