Cleveland Browns select Cody Kessler with 93rd pick after trading 77th pick to Panthers

CHICAGO – The Cleveland Browns selected Cody Kessler with the 93rd pick after they traded the 77th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers.

Kessler, a quarterback, played at USC.

In addition to the 93rd pick, the Browns also got the 129th pick and 168th pick. They also gave up their 141st pick in addition to their 77th pick.

In round 1 of the draft on Thursday, the Browns traded the 8th pick to the Tennessee Titans for the 15th pick.The Browns chose Baylor’s Corey Coleman with the 15th pick.

On Friday, the Browns chose Oklahoma State’s Emmanuel Ogbah with the 32nd pick.

The Browns chose Carl Nassib with the 65th pick.

With their 76th pick, the Browns took Shon Coleman, an offensive tackle who played at Auburn University.

The Browns have several selections in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh round as well.
